Phantom Cards went live for the first time in 2018.

Founder and CEO, Tyler Hohenstein, has been collecting, trading, and analyzing sports cards since he was five years old. That lifelong passion eventually grew into Phantom Cards, beginning humbly in the guest bedroom of Tyler’s home.

Since those early days, Phantom has grown into a trusted name in the live sports card breaking community, bringing collectors together to experience the thrill of opening hobby boxes and chasing the biggest cards in the industry.

Today, Phantom Cards runs live breaks featuring NBA, NFL, and MLB hobby products from brands like Topps and Panini. Our mission has always been simple: break the best products in the hobby, offer fair pricing, and create an exciting experience for collectors of all levels.
